Another Snow Filled Day

Kids were off of school again today because of the snow. We had freezing rain and sleet for like 5 hours yesterday aftenoon into evening hours, on top of that over night we had more snow, ontop of the ice and the 4 inches before the ice. Well it snowed another 5 inches by noon today. Hubby was even home today. Alot of people were out of electric because of the ice on the lines causing them to fall .We had a level 3 for our county which means cars are not to be on the road. It was beautiful though. Our first good snow fall this year. Here are some pictures of the last two days.

Well here are some of the kids and dad the first and second day sled riding, the last picture is of my 15 year old Chris after sleding and his face hitting the snow which was not just snow but ice. I told them today wasnt a good day to go becasue of the ice we had, I think next time they will listen to mom!

I didnt even have picture of him sledding because it happened after 2nd or third time he did it.

Monday, a sad day!

Oh Lord my heart aches today. I dear online friend past away today, from Breast Cancer. My Prayers are with her Husband and her little ones. I pray Gods comfort be with them. You will be missed Renee.

Well now let me see if I can now share my weekend with everyone. Seems so hard to do because of the great loss today, but I know she is with Jesus.

Lets see Saturday my little guy turned 5, so hard to believe he is 5 all ready.We had cake and ice cream, then later we took him to his favorite place to eat La Rosa Pizza, then shopping. He got two games for his motion Vtech, building blocks, two board games, a ball and a Bible with carrying case. I tell you they grow up way to fast. Here are a couple pictures of his day.

The last picture was before we left to take him shopping. He wanted his picture taken in his Pa's cowboy hat, that mama gave him, Pa past away in Nov. 08' and she gave Michael his cowboy, hat. He looks adorable in it.

We missed church Sunday because having some car issues. We had to have are van dropped off to place to get looked at Sunday so hopefully they will have it done in couple days. Which means going to miss maybe Choir Practice, Fellowship night, and biggest loser at church Thursday evening. We have another car but the starter went out on it. So using my moms, old truck that for now which we have a family of five so that wont be used but for hubby to go to work. So praying my cars will all be fixed this week.

Have big snow storm heading our way tonight through Wednesday. Will be our first big of the year Hoping enough kids can get out and play in it. Michael so been waiting the big snow.

Love Fridays!

Well its friday again. I love Fridays! Mike is off work on the weekends and kids are off of school, love when we are all together. We have church Sunday morning and Sunday evening. I love my church. Tomorrow our little guy will be 5 . My heart just is sadden by this. Just seems like when they turn 5 they just shoot up. I miss the baby in my kids the holding them and cuddling them. Though I most say even my 15 year old son will still snuggle up with mommy, they all three do. So thats a blessing, that the love in our home is very stronge. I belive thats because of God in the middle of our family.

This week has been kinda tough, my momma can down monday and stayed three days. Kinda threw me off my daily routine. So that means my diet and exercise didnt go as well this week, and not im my word as much as I like to be this week. Funny how little things can throw ya off.
We will be going to her house to night to take care of some things, and help her start getting rid of her husbands clothes and things, he passed away in Nov. 08 and she has been having a really rough time with it. So we are going to help go through his things with her. It will be tough.

Well I did it! Mike and I went to Christain store Sunday after church, and I bought 5 cds to practice to do at church. I havent felt like this in long time, but I feel God pushing tords singing again so i will follow his lead and do what he wants me to do.

All things are possible

WoW! I love how God works and talks to us if we just listen. He has been working with me in such and awesome way. I have never felt closer to him than I do right. Last Sunday was great, and he spoke to me alot in both services that day. I have really been holding back on my singing and doing solo's, because I allow my weight and woundering if people think I cant sing and shouldnt be, or me just being so hard on myself about everything. God showed me sunday that I need to let go and just do as he ask, and that if he wants me moving forward and bolder in my singing then I need to trust him and do. So Im trying with his guidness to move forward.

Yesterday I was looking for Easter songs for the choir to do for Easter (I'm in the choir) well the song This Blood by Carmen, is perfect special song for us to do, and God gave me a vision about this song and the church that morning we do it and I was just blown away! I brought it up to choir director last night and he was also wanting to do something similar to my vision. So Im praying God be the lead with this and great things happen with us doing and listening. Im aslo working on a solo for that day, so dipping my toe in and letting God pull the rest of me in.

Weight Loss

At church last night we had our first meeting last night for weight loss and for us ladies who wnat to do it and have support. Oh I almost didnt go because of stomach cramping, but took something laid down for a bit and got myself up and went. Im so glad I did, because Im so motivated. We started out with each one privately being weighted and messured. Well I thought I was going to die. I have such a hard time with someone knowing my weight when I dont want to know it myself, but Michele the lady who started it was so sweet and understanding and made me feel better about it. So now that is done and over with and Im on my way to lossing all this I gained since having Michael + some. Today I have kept count of my calories and did a work out, so far so good Praise God. I will post progress as I go through this. We also took pictures of ourself.

New Year's Resolutions for 09"

Wow doesn't it seem the older we become the years are just flying by? Now I know why adults always said enjoy being young while ya can. Well with the new year brings new resolutions. Again I will be trying to lose weight, seem that's on everyone list I know every year.

Well this year my main goal , is to have a close relationship with God. I wanna be in my word more, not just readying but studying the word, and learning. To be in prayer daily and having that quite personal time with God. This world when I look around scares me anymore, and I worry about friends and family who don't know Jesus as their Savior. I will be praying daily for them, Because I know he soon is to come and I want my loved ones and friends to be ready.
